Social Skills Development
Social Skills Development is a branch service in collaboration with community partners provided by SSkEd and others where social skills are supported and taught. We focus on these skills for children with neuro-diversities so they can be successful for their futures. These skills can range depending on the learner starting from simple skills like greetings to more broader skills such as interactions with peers. See below on programs that we have!
Fun N Learn Program ( Collaboration with Intellectual Biceps):
Fun N Learn Group October 2022-March 2023
Children are able to come to a safe setting and learn to be with their peers! A lot of skills are developed with peers and we are there to support them. We learn skills like parallel play, sharing, turn taking, readiness skills for school and much more!
Fun N Learn March Break Camp 2024
This camp will mirror our Fun N Learn group the only twist this March Break is that we are incorporating some Cook N Learn programming!
Cook N Learn Program ( Collaboration with Intellectual Biceps):
Cook N Learn March Break 2023
For this program we focused on making simple snacks and lunches with the kiddos! We were housed in a heritage house and had a kitchen to do all of our cooking. We played games, had dances parties and of course cook and ate. See the pictures below for some taste of the fun!
